Video Interview Analysis for Recruitment Agencies

Your clients don't want a 45-minute recording; they want the three moments that matter. RecView tags every video interview against your competency framework, scores each answer, and builds a clip-ready highlight reel — all in the time it takes your consultant to walk back to the desk.

What it does

A 3-minute reel, not a 45-minute watch.

RecView ingests every video interview — Teams, Meet, or a one-way Vintro recording — and analyses it against a competency framework you define. Ownership, commercial nous, team leadership, technical depth, whatever your desk scores against. Each moment in the interview is tagged against the relevant competency with a confidence score.

When the interview ends, your consultant gets a structured scorecard: strongest competencies, weakest, quotes pulled verbatim with timestamps. Alongside it — a suggested highlight reel: the three to five moments that would sell this candidate to the client, ready to clip and send.

The result is a shortlist your client actually watches. A three-minute reel with your commentary beats a forty-five-minute interview recording every time — and both you and the candidate look more prepared for it.

  • Your competency framework. Tag against ownership, commercial, systems, leadership — whatever you score on.
  • Auto-clipped highlight reel. Three to five moments, ready to send. No Premiere, no editing.
  • Verbatim quotes with timestamps. Every claim backed by what the candidate actually said.
  • Client-safe share links. Hide compensation, notice, references if you want to.
  • Scorecards you can compare. Stack three candidates on the same framework, side by side.

“"Solves a lot of problems in traditional recruitment with transparency. Having video records of our interviews not only gives clients a better understanding of the candidate but also allows our team to go back and watch those meetings to see where we could improve."”

Frequently asked

Questions recruiters actually ask.

Can I bring my own competency framework?
Yes. Every agency can define its own framework — ownership, commercial, technical depth, cultural fit, whatever your clients score on. You can also clone a client's framework into RecView so every candidate shortlisted for them is scored their way.
Does the candidate need to know they're being scored?
Disclosure is the same as for any recorded interview — RecView is visible in the call, and you can add a line to your interview agreement explaining that scoring and highlight reels are used as part of shortlist presentation.
Can I edit the highlight reel before sending?
Yes. RecView suggests three to five moments; you can add more, drop any, trim in or out, or replace the voiceover before the client share link is generated.
Is it fair to candidates?
The scorecard is evidence-based — every score has the verbatim quote attached. You can override any score, and the system flags when evidence is thin. Highlight reels can't be used as the sole basis for a hiring decision; they support your shortlist, they don't replace it.
How does this work with one-way interviews?
The same. A Vintro one-way interview is analysed exactly like a live video interview — same framework, same tagging, same highlight reel output.
