Coaching & QA for Recruitment Managers

Team leaders can't sit on every call, and reading transcripts doesn't scale. RecView scores every call against your desk's playbook, flags where consultants are losing the deal, and gives you five-minute coaching clips instead of forty-five-minute call reviews.

What it does

Coach the desk, without re-watching.

RecView scores every call against a playbook you define — qualification questions your consultants should be asking, red flags they should be catching, objections they should be handling. Each call gets a QA card with what went well, what was missed, and where the consultant can improve.

Managers get a weekly rollup: top coaching moments across the team, patterns per consultant (“Sam misses notice on 3 of 8 screens”), and a library of gold-standard clips to share in team meetings. No more “I wish you’d been on that call” — you can send the clip.

Junior consultants get real feedback on every call, not just on the ones their manager happened to shadow. And because RecView is watching consistently — not randomly — coaching stops being political and starts being evidence-based.

  • Playbook-based scoring. Your desk's qualification questions, your red flags, your objection patterns.
  • Consultant-level patterns. "Sam misses notice 3 of 8 calls this week" — not just one-off observations.
  • Clip library. Build a library of gold-standard moments to share across the team.
  • Bias-aware coaching. Scoring compares consultants against the playbook, not against each other.
  • Private to the manager. Coaching view is separate from client-facing summaries. Consultants see their own.
How it works

Playbook. Patterns. Progress.

  1. 01

    Define the playbook

Load your desk's qualification questions, red flags and objection patterns — or start from our recruitment template.

  2. 02

    RecView scores every call

Each call scored against the playbook; consultants see their own feedback, managers see the team rollup.

  3. 03

    Coach in minutes

Send a 90-second clip with a coaching note instead of blocking an hour to review a call.

Frequently asked

Questions recruiters actually ask.

Do my consultants see their scores?
Yes — each consultant sees their own QA feedback on every call, in real time. Managers see the team-level patterns. You can configure whether individual consultants see other consultants' scores (most agencies leave it off).
Can I build my own playbook?
Yes. We ship a recruitment-screen playbook and a recruitment-BD playbook out of the box; you can customise them or add playbooks per-desk (contract vs perm vs exec search all look different).
Is this just surveillance?
No — and we're careful about how it's framed. Coaching is about making every consultant's work more visible in a way that helps them; not about catching people out. Most agencies use it for evidence-based coaching, not performance management, and consultants see their own feedback alongside the manager rollup.
Can I export a clip for a team meeting?
Yes — trim in/out on a moment and share the clip (internally or externally). It's the fastest way to teach a junior consultant what good looks like.
Does this work for phone screens too?
Yes. Phone calls are scored against the same playbook. That matters because a lot of junior-consultant development happens on the phone, and it's the call type managers have the least visibility into today.
